Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account and using Rink Reserve, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are using Rink Reserve on behalf of a hockey association, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.
2. Service description
Rink Reserve provides ice scheduling software for minor hockey associations, including contract import, slot assignment, team notification, and reporting tools. The service is provided on a subscription basis with a free tier available.
3. Acceptable use
You may use Rink Reserve for lawful purposes related to managing your hockey association's ice schedule. You may not attempt to access other organizations' data, reverse-engineer the application, or use it to send unsolicited communications.
4. Subscription and billing
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD). Refunds are not available for partial billing periods. Annual plans may be cancelled for a prorated refund within 14 days of purchase.
5. Data ownership
You retain ownership of all data you upload or create in Rink Reserve. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. We may use aggregated, anonymized usage data to improve the product.
6. Service availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance via the in-app announcement system.
7. Limitation of liability
Rink Reserve is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including any scheduling errors or missed communications.
8. Termination
You may cancel your subscription at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data is retained on the free tier unless you request deletion.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.
